About the Speaker

Sonia Story offers Neuro-movement for optimal development of the brain and body for all ages and skill levels, with an emphasis on children with special needs.

Sonia has training in over 50 courses in reflex integration and innate rhythmic movement from world-renown mentors including Harald Blomberg, MD, Moira Dempsey, Jon Bredal, and Svetlana Masgutova. She developed the Brain and Sensory Foundations curriculum which is highly rated and acclaimed by parents, doctors, occupational therapists, physical therapists, mental health therapists, and speech therapists. Sonia has been teaching these methods since 2006, and her programs have been tested by thousands of parents and professionals with consistently outstanding results.

Sonia is the author of a white paper with supporting evidence, relevance, and rationale for using these tools in Occupational Therapy practice and Physical Therapy practice. She combines her specialized movement training with other communication and bodywork modalities to create a unique set of simple, yet effective tools to empower parents and therapists who wish to help children transform limitations.
