About the Speaker

Rhonda R. Parker is the Executive Director/Founder of Parker Autism Center located in Dallas, Texas. She has 30 years of experience teaching in Special Education, General Education classroom setting, and volunteering in her community. Rhonda a certified EC-12 Special Educator, who holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education, Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Studies emphasis (psychology and sociology). Rhonda is a Doctoral Candidate (2021) at Grand Canyon University with an emphasis on Organizational Leadership. She has taught grades 2-12th, provided educational support via virtual and respite care services for youth with disabilities. Rhonda has served in many capacities over the last 30 years as a Special Education Teacher, General Education Teacher, Mentor Teacher, Trainer, Employment Consultant, Counselor Intern, Special Olympics Coach, and a Transition Specialist. She has worked in the corporate, retail, and nonprofit setting. Rhonda has served in many capacities from being a member of several special education support groups, being a judge for DECA for Entrepreneurship competitions, an active community participant by providing support to individuals in their families.

Rhonda received a Resolution from the State of Texas as an Outstanding Contributor to Education from the Dallas Independent School District. Rhonda completed a Fellowship with the Department of Education. She was nominated for Teacher of the Year in Dallas Independent School District and Irving Independent School District.

Ms. Parker is the Founder and Executive Director of Parker Autism Center (PAC), (PAC), a 501©3 dedicated to addressing the variety of complex needs of individuals and families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder/and Disabilities. Subsequently, Rhonda has founded Baking to ImPACt and People-First Training Solutions which provides training and resources to organizations and the community.
