About the Speaker

Raun K. Kaufman is the author of the book Autism Breakthrough: The Groundbreaking Method That Has Helped Families All Over the World and the former CEO of the Autism Treatment Center of America®. In his work over more than two decades with families, children, and professionals from across the globe, Raun brings a distinctive qualification to his work: his own personal history as someone who himself emerged from severe autism. He conducts lectures worldwide and was the recipient of the Best Presenter Award at the National Autism One conference, given to the winner of a nationwide survey. Raun holds a degree in Biomedical Ethics from the Ivy League’s Brown University, has written articles featured in journals such as The Autism File, Autism/Asperger’s Digest, And Good Autism Practice, and he has been interviewed by major media outlets such as National Public Radio, BBC Television, Fox News Channel, The London Telegraph, and People Magazine.
